Hey everybody. I have some sad news, and then some really good news. First, the bad news:
It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Will Gattis & the Today is no more. Tim, Dom, and I parted ways amicably. They are fantastic people and fantastic musicians, and the fact that we are no longer a band doesn't change my opinion of their awesomeness.
Now, the good news.
Right before we broke up, we finished A BRAND NEW EP.
That's right, a new CD is on its way. We recorded it with the masterful Jon Wyman and its release will be announced before too long.
Also in the good news department, I am returning to performing after a much needed break. This includes three upcoming funtastic shows in April:
(Tomorrow) I'll be playing at the Relay for Life at UMaine Farmington.
(April 22nd) I'll be playing in the fundraiser for the Rusty Rocket foundation
and last but certainly not least:
Friday, April 27th, I'll be playing at BLUE in Portland, Maine.
Details of the shows are in the Shows tab. More news about the CD is on its way. Keep on rocking in the free world, you radical partypeople.

Summer Outdoor Shows!
Hey all! I just played an outdoor show in Monument Square, Portland, Maine to these lovely people:
and it was a fun fun fun start to our outdoor show season!
We've got 2 big outdoor shows coming up soon:
AUGUST 10th: SUNSET FOLK SERIES
We'll be playing in Western Promenade park in Portland, Maine as the sun goes down. A fantastic view, and we'll try and make the music equally beautiful.
AUGUST 13TH: KAHBANG
We're playing our first festival! We'll be on the Dispatch Magazine MAINE Stage along with some other awesome acts! More details on Kahbang here: http://kahbang.com

New Tour!
Hey guys. A few updates:
-I'm very pleased to say that as a result of the auction held in August, I dropped off $400 at the Preble St. Resource Center a few days ago. Thank you so much for your generosity!
-The band and I are getting new songs ready for going into the studio again!
-Most importantly, I'm going on a solo 3-stop tour in Tennesee, Texas, and Kansas! Check the "Shows" tab for the details.

The new CD is now released!
Hey everybody. I am very pleased to let you know that my new CD, “E.P.” is now available to buy!
The links above this post for iTunes and Amazon will lead you to places you can purchase it for download, or if you're like me and you want the physical CD, Bullmoose music in Portland will (very shortly) be happy to supply you with one.

How's it going guys?
It's been a while, but WillGattis.com is back up and running, not to mention better than before.
Along with this new website, I am very pleased to announce that just over a month from now, I will be releasing my new EP!
It will have four songs on it (including one older song in a new and improved form) that were all recorded at the Studio in Portland, Maine under the keen ears of Producer Jim Begley, and were all mastered in Portland, Maine by the keen ears of Adam Ayan of Gateway mastering! (Adam keeps Grammys that he's won in the waiting room. I really wanted to touch one of them, but I resisted the temptation).
As for the CD release, I am very happy to announce that my CD release party will be held:
August 27th
The Big Easy
55 Market St, Portland Maine
at 9 PM
This show will be 21+, but the kiddos should be getting a show of there own some time around then.
